Tension gripped the Vaguvarai area of Munnar, Kerala, on Sunday night when a wild elephant named “Padayappa” suddenly appeared on the road and attacked a car.
Eyewitnesses reported that the tusker charged at the vehicle unexpectedly, leaving those inside terrified and uncertain of what to do.
As the elephant approached, the situation escalated quickly, raising fears of potential injury or damage. The passengers remained frozen with fear while the massive animal drew closer to their car.
Displaying remarkable composure, the driver managed to keep calm under pressure. He used the car horn strategically to distract the elephant, and as soon as the animal paused for a moment, he accelerated and drove away to safety. Fortunately, no one was injured in the encounter, and the incident ended without any casualties.
