Woman and Her Lover Execute Brutal Murder of Husband, Body Sealed in Cement Drum
A chilling crime has come to light in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, where a woman and her lover have been accused of murdering her husband. The couple allegedly killed the man, dismembered his body, and then concealed the remains in a drum filled with cement in the Indiranagar area. The victim has been identified as Saurabh Rajput. His disappearance sparked suspicion, leading to an investigation that uncovered the horrifying truth.
According to Meerut City SP Ayush Vikram Singh, the accused have been identified as Muskan and Sahil. Saurabh Rajput, a Merchant Navy officer, had returned home on March 4th and had been missing since then.
Sahil confessed to the police that on March 4th, he and Muskan stabbed Saurabh to death. They then dismembered his body, placed it in a drum, and sealed it with cement. The police have recovered the body and sent it for an autopsy.
What caused the tragic outcome?
Saurabh and Muskan had a love marriage in 2016. Saurabh quit his Merchant Navy job to spend more time with his wife, but his family disapproved of his decision and the marriage, creating tension at home. This led to Saurabh moving out, and the couple renting a house. They had a daughter in 2019.
However, their relationship soured when Saurabh discovered Muskan was having an affair with his friend Sahil. This led to tension and even talk of divorce, but Saurabh ultimately decided to stay together for their daughter’s sake. He rejoined the Merchant Navy and went abroad for work in 2023.
He returned to India in February to celebrate his daughter’s birthday. However, the celebration turned deadly when he was murdered by Muskan and Sahil. On March 4, Muskan drugged Saurabh with sleeping pills, and while he was asleep, they stabbed him to death.
Muskan tried to cover up Saurabh’s disappearance by claiming he had gone to a hill station. She and Sahil even traveled to Kasuani and posted pictures on his social media accounts to mislead people. However, when Saurabh didn’t return his family’s calls for days, they filed a police complaint.
Muskan and Sahil were arrested and an FIR was registered against them after they confessed to the crime.
