A shocking CCTV footage from Greater Noida West’s Gaur City 2, 12th Avenue, has surfaced online, showing a woman forcibly dragging an 8-year-old boy out of an elevator after he objected to her pet dog entering. Following the viral video, angry residents protested outside the society’s gate, demanding strict action against her.

Incident Caught on CCTV
The incident took place on February 19 when the child, a resident of the society, was returning home from tuition. As he entered the lift, a woman accompanied by her unleashed pet dog stepped in. Fearing the dog, the boy folded his hands and pleaded with the woman not to let the dog enter. Instead of addressing his concerns, the woman dragged him out of the lift and allegedly slapped him multiple times.
Residents allege that she deliberately pulled the child out of the elevator to take him out of the CCTV camera’s range. Reports also suggest that she had been involved in past altercations over pet-related issues in the society.
Police Take Action After Video Goes Viral
Following the public outrage, DCP Central Noida Shakti Awasthi confirmed that the police had taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case. The woman has been detained, and legal proceedings are underway.
Protests Erupt, Social Media Condemns Act
As soon as the incident came to light, society residents staged a late-night protest at the society gate, demanding strict action against the accused. Several social media users also slammed the woman’s behavior, urging authorities to ensure justice for the child.
