Lucknow, Nov 6 : Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emerged as one of the most popular figures in Indian politics on social media platform ‘X’ and the recognition comes from the hashtag tracking tool, Tweet Binder, which has confirmed this trend.
According to the latest report by Tweet Binder, in October 2023, after Prime Minister Modi, the politician whose social media account garnered the most attention on platform X is none other than CM Yogi. Tweet Binder compiles its report by analysing the number of posts made by users on platform X in India from October 1 to October 31.
It may be noted that Tweet Binder specialises in hashtag analytics and follower tracking, primarily designed for Twitter hashtag analysis and Twitter monitoring. According to Tweet Binder’s report, PM Modi’s social media account received the highest level of discussion on platform X in October.
Following closely behind, Yogi emerged as the second most talked-about politician. In terms of overall engagement, only PM Modi, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli and South actor Vijay are positioned ahead of CM Yogi.
Notable celebrities like Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma, Bollywood actor Salman Khan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar trail significantly behind CM Yogi in terms of social media presence and discussions.
The CM’s name is gaining recognition in neighbouring countries like Pakistan to distant places like Australia, Israel, America, and England. He is the most sought after personality after Prime Minister Modi in the ongoing assembly election campaign in five states of the country.
He is counted as the most active and popular politician on social media. He has 2.65 crore followers on the social media platform X. At the same time, the number of his followers on Instagram has crossed the figure of 77 lakhs.
Apart from this, the CMis also active on many other social media platforms. His number of followers on the Koo app is also 68 lakh and he is at the top in terms of followers on this platform.
