About Yugendra Pawar
Born on April 22, 1991, Yugendra is the son of Shrinivas Pawar, younger brother of Deputy CM Ajit Pawar. A finance and insurance graduate from Northeastern University, USA, he currently serves as the Executive Director of Sharayu Sugar Factory and Treasurer of Vidya Pratishthan, a leading educational institution in Baramati.
Yugendra is also active in social welfare through the Sharayu Foundation, working on environmental projects like afforestation, deepening of water channels, and well construction across Baramati, Indapur, and Phaltan. Additionally, he is the President of the Baramati Taluka Wrestling Association.
Yugendra made headlines earlier when Sharad Pawar fielded him against Ajit Pawar in the Baramati Assembly elections, a high-stakes political contest that ended with Ajit Pawar’s victory.
This engagement follows closely after the April 10 engagement of Jay Pawar, Ajit Pawar’s son, with Rutuja Patil, making it a double celebration for the Pawar clan.
