1 Killed, 8 Injured as MSRTC Bus Hits Car and Bike on Old Pune-Mumbai Highway in Bopodi
In a tragic incident on Sunday morning, one person lost their life and eight others were injured when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus collided with a bike and a car on the old Pune-Mumbai highway in the Bopodi area of Pune.

The accident occurred around 9:15 am at Chikhalwadi, in front of a commercial complex. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 4), “The bus rammed into a car and a bike, resulting in one fatality and injuries to eight others, two of whom are in serious condition. All injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a hospital.”
The incident led to a significant disruption of traffic in the Khadki and Bopodi areas, causing delays on the highway.
