11 people rescued by Pune fire brigade from Kondhwa

A building wall collapsed near Datta Mandir in Kondhwa Gaothan area on Thursday morning.

The Pune Fire Brigade team reached the spot and rescued 11 people from the site. There is no report of injury or fatalities in the incident.

Giving more details about the incident, firemen Yogesh Pisal said, “The incident happened near Datta Mandir in Kondhwa Gaothan when a wall of dilapidated Wada collapsed on a house nearby. 11 people were rescued safely from the debris. The rescue operation was carried out by firemen Rafiq Shaikh, myself and driver Ravindra Hivarkar from Kondhwa Budruk Fire Station near Talab factory.”
