The NaMo Central Park was inaugurated by Chief Minister Eknath Shinde recently which saw visit of over 17000 people. 

Shinde said, “It is a state-of-the-art park, we are really proud of this development, which Jason been built in lieu of TDR, and Thane Municipal Corporation has not spent a single penny on this massive development.”
The NaMo Central Park is the states first Central Park concept and the biggest Urban Park which is spread over 20 acres in Maharashtra.


The park will be open from 6:00 am to 11:00 am and 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm everyday except for Mondays. Adults will have to pay an entry fee of Rs.20 on weekdays and Rs.30 on weekend and Public holidays, cyclists will have to pay Rs.20, Senior Citizens will have to pay Rs. 15. There is no entry fees for children below 15 years.
The park has themed gardens, Flora Trellis, India’s largest Skate Park, tree house, Fitness Children’s play zones, three stunning acre lake, the iconic X bridge, meditation areas and green places promoting healthy lifestyle.
According to Mitali Sancheti, Deputy Municipal Commissioner, in-charge of the gardens department, “Around 2500 visitors accessed the park on Friday and the numbers rose to 5778 on Saturday. The crowds swelled on Sunday Sunday even as the volume was less in the morning, it picked up substantially In the next session with nearly 9227 tickets sold till last evening.”
The responsibility to maintain the NaMo Park has been given to Kalpataru group.
