19 Bangladeshi nationals including 10 women arrested in Pune for illegal stay

Pune, September 2 : The Social Security Cell (SSC) of Pune police have arrested 19 Bangladeshi Nationals including 10 women involved in prostitution here on Friday. Sr inspector of SSC Bharat Jadhav said that police have received information about these foreign nationals who were staying illegally in Budhwar Peth areas of city from last few months.

Accordingly, we conduct raid in the areas at wee hours today and arrested all 19 Bangladeshi Nationals who came illegally to Pune last three months ago by crossing India- Bangladesh Border.
Jadhav further said that all 19 persons entered India illegally without any valid documents. They have no written permission from the civil authority on the Indo-Bangladesh and leaving in Budhwar which is one of the famous red-light of Maharashtra.

Assistant Police Inspector Aniket poet said the team of Security Department conducted raid under the guidance of senior police officers and arrested all 19th accused simultaneously. After verifying them, they confessed that all have illegally entered into India. Police have registered case against all and further investigation still on, said poet.

He said action was taken under guidance of Pune police Commissioner Ritesh Kumaar, Joint Commissioner of Police Sandeep Karnik, Upper Commissioner of Police Ramnath Polke, Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende, Senior Police along with other police officials involved in carrying raid.
