3 people from Pune based family died in bus accident on Goa Mumbai Highway near Kolhapur

A terrible accident took place on 23 November (Thursday) as a private sleeper coach bus travelling from Goa to Mumbai, overturned in Kolhapur.
Chief Fire Officer Of Kolhapur Municipal Corporation informed that a private sleeper bus overturned at Radha nagari Road, Puikhadi near Kolhapur city and the fire brigade of the KMC undertook the work of evacuating approximately 25 passengers. 4 passengers were stuck under the bus and the personnel evacuated them too. 5 persons died on the spot in the accident, out of which three from Pune.
The deceased have been identified as follows :
- 1. Neelu Gautam, age 43 years
- 2. Ridhima Gautam, age 17 years
- 3.Sarthak Gautam, age 13 years
Private sleeper coach bus was travelling from Goa to Mumbai overturned while taking a turn in Puikhadi area near Kolhapur city when the driver lost his attention as the focus lights obstructed his vision.
