50-Foot Canvas Art Exhibition Showcasing Maharashtra’s Tourist Destinations At Pune Festival
Pune: As part of the 36th Pune Festival, women artists from the Akruti Group have painted Maharashtra’s famous tourist destinations on a 50-foot-long canvas, an initiative appreciated for promoting tourism. The exhibition was inaugurated by MP Medha Kulkarni, who emphasized the need for both royal and public support for art.
The event took place at Lokmanya Sabhagruh, Kesari Wada, where artists depicted landmarks such as Shivneri Fort, Ajanta Caves, Shirdi, and more. This unique art project is also being submitted to World Record India. The canvas will later be gifted to Maharashtra’s Directorate of Tourism.
