61,05,305 people surveyed in Pune district under ‘My Family, My Responsibility’ initiative

Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had informed all districts across Maharashtra to implement the initiative of ‘My Family, My Responsibility’ to survey individual homes and find out Covid19 patients so that timely treatment can be conducted on such patients. Pune district has been the hotspot for Covid19 patients for the past few weeks and hence Deputy Chief minister Ajit Pawar had also instructed the Pune district administration to rigorously conduct screening. Till date, 61,05,305 people have been surveyed and tests have been conducted on them, wherein 32,368 have been found suspicious of Covid19 positive. Out of these, 28,300 patients have been tested again, wherein 3,841 have been found Covid19 positive. The information was released by Pune district Collector Dr Rajesh Deshmukh. 
House to house surveys are being carried across Pune district areas. 
Pune Municipal Corporation had conducted the initiative where 16,37,086 have been surveyed, PCMC conducted a survey on 18,79,217 while in rural Pune so far 25,89,002, a total of 61,05,305 patients have been screened.In Pune Municipal Corporation limits, 7,060 have been found positive while in PCMC 2,400 while in rural Pune 22,984 patients have been found Covid19 positive.

In PMC limits, 6,984 citizens, in PCMC 1516 citizens while in rural Pune 19,800 – a total of 28,300 citizens have been retested. After conducting tests, in PMC – 780 patients, in PCMC – 286 while in rural Pune 2,775 patients – a total of 3,841 Covid19 positive patients have been found positive and sent for further treatment.” A total of 574 villages have been surveyed in Pune district,” informed Deshmukh.
