67 bed Covid center facility now at Lokmanya hospital

Member of Parliament Shrirang Barne through his Shrirang Barne Social Foundation has started a 67 bed Covid Care center facility at the Lokmanya hospital in Nigdi Pradhikaran. This facility shall have oxygen, ICU and ventilator beds facility too. The initiative to start covid center was taken by Lokmanya hospital managing director Dr Narendra Vaidya, Dr Shreekrishna Joshi, Shrirang Barne Social Foundation president, Gajanan Chinchwade and secretary Ravi Namade.

Shrirang Barne, Member of Parliament, Maval constituency speaking to Pune Pulse said, “This facility is equipped with oxygen, ICU and ventilators. Pimpri Chinchwad in the last few months is seeing surge in cases. The city is adding atleast 3000 cases daily and most of the patients are landing in the hospital with severe illness. Most of the covid hospitals are running out of beds and other medical facilities. Hence, we decided to start a Covid center at Lokmanya hospital with 57 oxygen beds, ICU and ventilator beds. The ventilators are being provided by Shrirang Appa Barne Social Foundation.”
