7th price rise in 5 months: CNG to cost Rs 6 more

The petrol and diesel prices have increased by 8 and 7 paise respectively

Pune: The price of compressed natural gas (CNG) has increased by Rs 6 in Pune from today. It is the seventh time in the last five months that the rate of gas have gone up.

The petrol and diesel prices have also increased by 8 paise and 7 paise respectively.

“Overall there is a shortage of CNG gas as there is no supply from Russia and Ukraine. Whatever Opaque gas is there, it is being purchased by America and Australia which is also causing a shortage in India,” said Ali Daruwala, spokesperson, All India Petrol Dealers’ Association (AIPDA).

The prices of petrol, Diesel, power petrol, and CNG for Pune city will be as follows from 04-08-2022

  • Petrol Rs 105.91 ( increased by Rs 00 .08 per litre)
  • Power Rs 111. 57 (increased by Rs00.08 per litre)
  • Diesel Rs 92.43 ( increased by Rs 00.07 per litre)
  • CNG Rs 91. 00 (increased by Rs 6 per kg).
