Pune: Residents Of NIBM Annexe Road In Mohammadwadi To Get New Speed Breakers Near Raheja Vista CircleÂ

In a significant development, four speed breakers have been sanctioned for installation in Mohammad wadi, marking a major victory for road safety. The speed breakers will be installed at Kingston Atlantis, Pristine Viva, Archana Paradise Phase I, and Archana Paradise Phase II, thanks to the efforts of Nitin D’Souza, a resident of Archana Paradise Phase 1 Society.
The increasing speed of vehicles in Mohammadwadi area has become a significant concern, posing a risk to pedestrians, cyclists, and other road users. “The high speed of vehicles was putting the lives of residents, especially senior citizens and school students, at risk,” said Nitin D’Souza. “I sought help from the traffic department, and I’m grateful to have received a positive response.”
The sanctioning of speed breakers is a testament to the power of community efforts and the responsiveness of local authorities. Deputy Commissioner Rohidas Pawar, Traffic Division, Pune, has issued an order to Kondhwa Police Station Traffic Division and the PMC for the installation of the speed breakers.
