Jalna Video: Bank Manager Beaten by 'Swabhimani' Group in Jalna Over Subsidy Disputes
A significant incident has emerged from Jalna. A bank manager has been assaulted by members of the ‘Swabhimani’ group. The attack occurred at the Bank of Maharashtra branch in Varud Budruk, a village in the Jaffrabad taluka of Jalna.
The assault was carried out by the youth district president of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana. The group alleges that the bank manager halted various subsidies, including those for farmers, milk, housing, and aid for widows and the destitute. Today, members of the Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana stormed the bank and caused a commotion in protest.
