The Pune Parivahan Mahamandal Mahanagar (PMPML) has introduced a new mobile app, “Apli PMPML,” aimed at enhancing the commuting experience for passengers. Officially launched on Independence Day, the app will be available for download on the Google Play Store starting August 17, 2024. The “Apli PMPML” app offers several key features to assist commuters. Users can access comprehensive information about all bus routes, helping them navigate from their current location to their destination. The live bus tracking feature allows passengers to monitor the real-time location of buses and estimate their arrival times at stops, facilitating better time management.

Additionally, the app supports online ticket purchases, enabling users to buy tickets via UPI payment options for a cashless experience. Commuters can also buy daily passes through the app, with prices set at ₹40, ₹50, and ₹120, making daily travel more convenient and affordable.

A notable feature is the ability to register complaints directly through the app, which aims to address issues swiftly and improve customer service. Furthermore, the app includes a function for purchasing Pune Metro tickets, providing a unified solution for both bus and metro travel.
