Pune: Photos Of Female Students From Hadapsar School Morphed And Leaked : Investigation Underway
In a disturbing incident that came into light, several tenth-grade students have been implicated in the circulation of morphed nude photos of their female classmates. The case emerged following a police complaint filed by the mother of one of the affected students, which triggered a police investigation.
According to police, the incident took place between June 16 and June 30 at a well-known school in Hadapsar. Among the students involved are two from the same tenth-grade class as the victim; one has since left the school but maintained contact with current students.
The accused allegedly altered the photos of their classmates and posted them on the Telegram messaging app, where they were further shared. The issue came to light after a teacher at the school alerted the victim’s family.
In response to the complaint, the Hadapsar police have detained three minor students related to the case. They are set to appear before the Juvenile Justice Board, said Pune Police Deputy Commissioner R. Raja to Pune Pulse.
