Ladki Bahin Scheme: Essential Documents Needed for Applications

Maharashtra Government To Re-Verify 1% Of Ladki Bahin Applications
The state government’s ambitious Ladki Bahin initiative, launched just before the assembly elections, is becoming increasingly popular. Today marks the final day to apply for this scheme. Although more than 2.5 crore women are eligible, many have yet to apply for various reasons. The government is offering a last opportunity for those who haven’t submitted their applications. Women can apply at Anganwadis, which may lead to a high volume of applicants today. The scheme provides a monthly deposit of ₹1,500 into women’s bank accounts, along with a special Diwali bonus. The government has already extended the application deadline three times to ensure more beneficiaries can take advantage of the program.
The Ladki Bahin scheme started in the state on July 1. The initial application deadline was August 31, which was extended to September 30, and now to October 15. It’s important to note that there will be no further extensions.
