Pune News: PMRDA Extends Application Deadline For Affordable Housing

Taking into account challenges faced by residents, the Metropolitan Commissioner has extended the application deadline.

Pune/Pimpri, November 12, 2024: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is inviting online applications for remaining flats in Peth 12 and Peth 30-32. Due to delays in obtaining required documents, Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase has extended the application deadline to November 30 at the request of residents.

PMRDA has launched an extensive affordable housing project with 1,337 units, which includes 47 EWS and 614 LIG flats under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in Peth 12, and 347 EWS (1RK) and 329 LIG (1BHK) units in Peth 30-32. Originally, applications were to close on November 12, but residents faced delays in obtaining documents necessary for online submissions and requested an extension.

Revised Schedule  
The revised schedule will allow applicants to submit until November 30, followed by a tentative list for the lottery on December 17, open for objections until December 18. A final list will be published on December 27, with the final lottery draw on December 31. Successful and waiting list applicants will be posted on PMRDA’s website.
