Following the news that Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in this year’s IPL Auction, Urvashi posted something that seemed to be about manifestation. She shared several pictures of herself wearing a blue outfit, which she accessorized with a red belt adorned with a rose. In her post, Urvashi wrote, “Jo lafz kahu woh hojaye.” Many social media users speculated that her cryptic message was linked to Rishabh and playfully mentioned his name in the comments.
It is worthy to note that former Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant was acquired by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) for ₹27 crore, marking the highest bid ever recorded in the tournament’s history at the Abadi Al Johar Arena in Jeddah on Sunday. This bid outstripped that of former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) captain Shreyas Iyer, who was sold to Punjab Kings for an impressive ₹26.75 crore on the same day.
Regarding the rumors about Urvashi Rautela and Rishabh Pant, Urvashi frequently makes headlines due to her alleged relationship with the cricketer. In 2022, she mentioned that a certain “RP” had kept her waiting for hours, leading many to speculate that she was referring to Pant. She has also posted cryptic messages about love and heartbreak and was in Australia at the same time as Pant during a match. However, she later clarified that the “RP” in her life is actually her co-star, Ram Pothineni.
Despite her clarification, fan pages and memes linking the two continued to circulate online. In September this year, she addressed the ongoing rumors in an interview with NDTV, stating, “Regarding the persistent rumours linking me with RP (Rishabh Pant), I want to clarify that these memes and rumours are unfounded. I prefer to keep my personal life private. My focus remains on my career and the work I am passionate about. It’s important to address such matters with transparency and to concentrate on the truth rather than speculation. I don’t understand why meme material pages get super excited.”
