Pune Latest News: The weather is expected to remain dry in Goa, Konkan, and Vidarbha. However, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted isolated rainfall in parts of Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada.
Pune Winter: Over the past two days, the minimum temperature had dropped, marking the onset of winter in Pune and across Maharashtra. However, on Sunday, January 5, there was a slight rise in the minimum temperature. The IMD has forecast that the sky over Pune will remain partially cloudy for the next two days.
Meanwhile, the winter chill that had disappeared over the past two weeks made a comeback on Saturday, January 4. In some parts of the state, the temperature dropped significantly. However, on Sunday, the minimum temperature rose by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. Nagpur recorded the lowest temperature in the state at 8.8°C, while Pune registered 11.2°C, leading to a slight reduction in the intensity of the cold.
In Pune and its surrounding areas, the sky will be mostly clear with some partial cloudiness in the afternoon and evening. There is also a chance of light fog in the morning. On Monday, January 6, the minimum temperature is expected to hover around 11°C, while the maximum temperature could reach 30°C, according to the IMD.
