Maharashtra: Unemployed Youth To Receive ₹6,000 To ₹10,000 Monthly! Government Launches New Scheme
Pune: The Maharashtra government has launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Karya Prashikshan Yojana to enhance the employability of youth by providing on-the-job training after their education. District Collector Jitendra Dudi urged job seekers to take maximum advantage of the scheme.
To avail of the scheme, candidates must register on https://rojgar.mahaswayam.gov.in. Registration can also be done at government-run industrial training institute (ITI) camps in every taluka. Registered candidates can apply for vacancies in government, semi-government, and private organizations under the scheme by submitting online applications through the ‘CMYKPY Training Scheme’ section on the Mahaswayam portal.
Eligibility criteria include:
- The candidate must be a resident of Maharashtra.
- Age: 18 to 35 years.
- Minimum qualification: Class 12 pass, ITI, diploma, graduation, or postgraduate degree.
- The candidate must have an Aadhaar-linked bank account.
The scheme duration is six months, during which participants will receive a monthly stipend directly into their bank accounts based on their educational qualifications:
- ₹6,000 per month for Class 12 pass candidates
- ₹8,000 per month for ITI and diploma holders
- ₹10,000 per month for graduates
The scheme has listed vacancies from various industries, startups, and organizations, including government and semi-government offices like the District Collectorate, Zilla Parishad, GST Department, and Registrar of Cooperative Societies, as well as private companies such as BVG India Ltd. and S.K. Corporation.
