PCMC urges residents to participate in the national cleanliness survey by submitting their feedback online

Pimpri: Pimpri Chinchwad is gearing up for Swachh Survekshan 2024, the country’s largest annual cleanliness assessment, and citizen participation will play a crucial role in securing a top rank. The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has called upon residents to submit their feedback online, as public opinion carries dedicated weightage in the final rankings.

Swachh Survekshan, conducted by the Government of India, evaluates cities based on multiple parameters, including waste management, sanitation infrastructure, and citizen feedback. A central inspection team will soon visit Pimpri Chinchwad to assess its cleanliness initiatives. To maximize the city’s chances of securing a high rank, PCMC is urging residents to submit their feedback before March 31, 2025.

PCMC Commissioner and Administrator Shekhar Singh emphasized the importance of public participation, stating, “Our citizens’ feedback is a critical component of this survey. Every response brings us closer to making Pimpri Chinchwad one of the cleanest cities in India.”

How to submit your feedback:

1. Visit the official website: https://sbmurban.org/feedback

2. Enter your mobile number and select your preferred language

3. Choose “Maharashtra” under the State option and “Pune” under the District option

4. Select “Pimpri Chinchwad” under the ULB (Urban Local Body) option

5. Answer the survey questions based on your experience with cleanliness in the city

6. Enter the OTP received on your mobile and submit the feedback
