Pimple Saudagar, February 19, 2025: The Sai Vaastu Society in Pimple Saudagar commemorated the 395th birth anniversary of the legendary Maratha warrior and founder of the Indian Navy, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, with great enthusiasm. Recognized as “Akhanda Hindustan’s Aradhya Daivat,” Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy was honored through a series of heartfelt tributes.
As part of the celebrations, 395 diyas were lit at the society’s entrance, symbolizing the years since his birth. A significant highlight of the event was the inauguration of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj within the society premises.
Following the inauguration, attendees gathered for a refreshment session, where tea and snacks were served. The diya-lighting ceremony was accompanied by an inspiring speech on Shivaji Maharaj’s valor and vision.
Adding to the event’s significance, senior citizen Mr. Mahajan shared an insightful and lesser-known story about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, captivating the audience, which included residents of all ages.
