Watch: Sunita Williams Returns to Earth with Smile After 9 Months Stranded in Space

Washington, D.C.: Astronaut Sunita Williams has finally returned to Earth after spending nine months stranded aboard the International Space Station (ISS). Despite the extended mission, she landed with a smile, showcasing her resilience and passion for space exploration.
Williams, along with fellow astronaut Butch Wilmore, was part of Boeing’s Starliner test mission, which faced unexpected technical issues. Originally scheduled for a much shorter stay, the astronauts remained aboard the ISS as NASA and Boeing worked on resolving the spacecraft’s propulsion and thruster problems.
