Radio Mirchi Pune Turns 23: Celebrating Two Decades of Tadka, Tunes & Togetherness
For 23 years, Mirchi Pune has been more than just a radio station for Pune—it’s been the city’s morning companion, gossip buddy, and musical lifeline. From deep dives into city issues to juicy celebrity secrets, from essential tips to trending tracks—Mirchi Pune has blended entertainment and information with its signature tadka.

To mark this milestone, on May 1, over 23 beloved Marathi celebrities including Salil Kulkarni, Sarang Sathe, Sonali Kulkarni, Pushkar Jog, Sandeep Khare, and others took over the airwaves, sharing their most entertaining stories and memories with Mirchi—live, all day long.
The celebration wasn’t limited to the studio. At Pune’s Aeromall, the ‘Kendravardhini’ group crafted a stunning 23-foot rangoli of the Mirchi logo, drawing crowds of onlookers.
To add rhythm to the colors, a vibrant one-hour djembe drum circle by Yudi and Pune Drum Circle Group invited people to join in and feel the beat.

Listener love made it even sweeter. Superfan Zara surprised the RJs with a custom-made cake featuring their names, proving once again that Mirchi isn’t just a station—it’s a family.
Staying true to its soul, Mirchi extended the celebration to the Seva Mitra Mandal Orphanage, where RJs shared cake and gifted color books to around 200 children, making them a part of the festivities too.
The Pune Mirchi team—Mirchi RJ Adhishh, RJ Nidhi, RJ Utsavi, RJ Nimi, RJ Milind, RJ Snehal, and others—brought passion and energy to every moment of this celebration.

With 23 years of music, memories, and mischief behind it, Radio Mirchi promises to keep Pune hot, happy, and tuned in—always.
