Pune, May 8, 2025: HK Powerhouse emerged victorious in the grand finale of The Poona Club Racquet League 2025, lifting the coveted title after a thrilling contest against Stash Pro Parmar All Stars. The prestigious tournament, organized by The Poona Club Ltd, featured high-intensity matches across five racquet sports—Squash, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis, and Pickleball—held at the club’s state-of-the-art courts.
In a closely contested final, HK Powerhouse triumphed over All Stars with an aggregate score of 267-254.
• In Badminton, All Stars edged past HK Powerhouse 68-63.
• In Tennis, HK Powerhouse dominated with a commanding 60-42 victory.
• In Table Tennis, they narrowly beat All Stars 62-60.
• In Squash, All Stars took the lead with a 41-27 win.
• In Pickleball, HK Powerhouse sealed the championship with a strong 55-43 win.
The champion team, HK Powerhouse, was awarded the winners trophy , Stash Pro Parmar All stars were the Runners up and ASR strikers took 3rd place. The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Gaurav Gadhoke, President of The Poona Club Ltd; Indraneel Mujgule, Vice President; Tushar Aswani, Sports Chairman and Tournament Chairman of the Racquet League; Ranjit Pande, Tournament Director and other PCL Committee members.
This marks the grand conclusion of the Poona Club Racquet League 2025, a celebration of athletic excellence and sportsmanship, showcasing some of the best talent in racquet sports.
