Pimpri, June 17, 2025 – A joint inspection and review meeting regarding rainwater drainage, road repairs, and civic amenities in Hinjawadi Phase 1, 2, and 3 along with the Metro corridor was conducted on Monday (June 16) by Deepak Singla, Additional Metropolitan Commissioner of PMRDA, and Vijay Rathod, Joint CEO of MIDC, along with other officials.

Following the inspection, a crucial meeting was held at the Hinjawadi Industrial Association office with concerned officers and staff to address key issues and ensure swift execution of pending works.

Immediate Drainage Work near Dolphin and Sai Proviso Buildings: Urgent measures to ensure smooth flow of rainwater.

Debris Management: Immediate removal and proper disposal of debris along the Metro route and surrounding areas.

Pollution Control:Strict action against companies discharging polluted water into natural drains.

Opening of Natural Drains: Blocked natural drains should be reopened by clearing debris; instructions issued for cleaning and repairing drainage lines.

Present during the inspection and meeting were Superintendent of Police and Vigilance Officer Amol Tambe, PMRDA Chief Engineer Rinaz Pathan, Director of Development and Planning Sunil Marale, MIDC Chief Engineer Nitin Wankhede, and Hinjawadi Traffic Police Inspector Prasad Gokule, among others.

The officials also instructed immediate implementation of decisions taken during a review meeting conducted earlier by PMRDA Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase on June 11, 2025.
