Pune: Over 15,000 Devotees Benefit From Medical Relief Camps Organised For Warkaris Heading To Pandharpur
Camp Organised by CM Relief Fund and Charitable Hospitals Cell Brings Devendra Fadnavis’ Vision to Life
Pune, June 25, 2025: In alignment with the vision and inspiration of Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, a large-scale service camp (Charanseva Shibir) was successfully organised for Warkaris proceeding towards Pandharpur for Vitthal darshan. The initiative benefitted over 15,000 Warkaris, offering them essential medical aid and support along their pilgrimage route.
The camps were conducted at 10 prominent locations in Pune city—Parge Chowk, Kasba Ganpati, Kasturi Chowk, Nanapeth, Remoshi Gate, Sahyadri Maidan, Gangadham Road, Kashewadi, Market Yard, and Gangadham Chowk. The initiative was led by the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and the Charitable Hospitals Assistance Cell, Pune.
More than 1,037 students and volunteers rendered their services at the camps. Driven by the spirit of “Serving Warkaris is Serving Lord Vitthal,” numerous educational institutions actively participated, including:

Volunteers offered physiotherapy, fatigue-relieving massages, and motivational interactions to rejuvenate Warkaris both physically and mentally. The initiative was coordinated under the leadership of Rameshwar Naik, Head of the CM Relief Fund and Charitable Hospitals Assistance Cell.
