Pune, September 16, 2025 – Punya Nagari Banga Samaj is proud to announce the celebration of its 29th year of Durga Puja, one of the most cherished cultural and spiritual events in Pune’s Bengali community. This year’s festivities will commence with a special Mohalaya performance on Sunday, 21st September at 7:00 AM at Tirupati Mangalkarlaya, Lane No. 2, Tingre Nagar, Vishrantwadi, Pune.
The highlight of the Mohalaya will be the dramatic presentation of “Mahishasur Mardini”, a captivating blend of music, dance, and narration that symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Members across generations—energetic youngsters and respected elders—are coming together with immense dedication to bring this performance to life.
In addition to the Mahishasur Mardini, audiences will be treated to a variety of cultural programs including singing, dancing, and drama performances, showcasing the talent and enthusiasm of the community.
