Pune: 230 Families Of Dhanori’s Aurum Elementto Society Struggle With Power And Water Cuts Amid Waterlogging
Pune, September 19, 2025: Residents of Aurum Elementto Society on Porwal Road, Dhanori, are once again facing severe inconvenience due to the recurring issue of waterlogging in their premises.
The residential complex, which has around 230 flats, is no stranger to the problem. According to residents, every monsoon season brings with it the same ordeal of flooded surroundings, disrupting daily life and civic services.
A resident highlighted the situation, stating that since last night, the entire society has been without electricity and water supply, making it extremely difficult for families to manage. With no clarity on when services will be restored, the residents are now demanding urgent intervention.
The lack of timely response from civic authorities has left the society helpless, forcing citizens to raise their voice on social platforms in the hope that the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will take swift action.
Residents have appealed to the authorities to not only restore electricity and water immediately but also address the long-term issue of waterlogging that continues to plague the society year after year. They believe only proactive measures can prevent such crises from recurring.
