The Pune Fountain Pen Show to be held from September 26 to 28
Pune, September 19, 2025: For those with a special fondness for fountain pens, an opportunity to participate in India’s only fountain pen show, ‘The Pune Fountain Pen Show 2025 ’, is just around the corner. Organized by The Ink and Pens, this exhibition will take place from September 26 to 28 at One Place, Dnyaneshwar Paduka Chowk, Ferguson Road.
The show will feature pens from across the country and abroad, along with ink in various colors and fountain pen accessories. The exhibition will be inaugurated on September 26 at 10:30 am by retired Mumbai High Court Judge Shree Dilip Karnik, in the presence of Pune BJP city vice-president Shree Manoj Khatri. The three-day exhibition will be open from 10:30 am to 8:30 pm and is free for all attendees.

This year marks the fifth edition of The Pune Fountain Pen Show, which will exclusively showcase fountain pens. The exhibition will feature fountain pens from renowned companies such as Lamy, Pelikan, Waterman, Parker, and Pilot. No ballpoint or roller pens will be displayed in this exhibition. Visitors can expect to see a selection of new, attractive, and rare Indian and foreign-made fountain pens, high-quality ink in various colors, and a range of accessories for fountain pens. A special edition pen based on the historical figure of Shrimant Thorale Bajirao Peshwe, crafted by Arun Singhi of Lotus Pens, will also be on display and available for purchase.
In addition to the pen exhibition, facilities for repairing old pens will be provided, and guidance on improving handwriting will also be offered. According to Rashmi Nagarkar-Pillai, director of The Ink and Pen, fountain pens will be available in the price range of ₹100 onwards and above. As part of the event, a handwriting competition will be held for participants aged 10 and above, where they will be required to write India’s national anthem (Jana Gana Mana) using a fountain pen and submit it at the exhibition. Certificates will be awarded to participants, and the results will be announced on November 7, World Fountain Pen Day.
The objective behind organizing this pen show for the past five years is to create awareness about fountain pens among students and to highlight their benefits in improving handwriting and intellectual abilities. With many schools encouraging the use of fountain pens and a growing awareness among people, such exhibitions are proving beneficial, Rashmi Nagarkar-Pillai added.
