On the October 1 episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 17, a question from the Ramayana brought an unexpected twist for contestant Shraddha, who had been progressing smoothly on the hot seat opposite Amitabh Bachchan. The options were:

Though confident up to this point, Shraddha found herself unsure. With the stakes high, she chose to use her Audience Poll lifeline. Even then, she wasn’t completely certain, so she looked to the host, Amitabh Bachchan, for some direction. Aditya Kumar, a Deputy Commandant in the CISF currently posted as an ASP in Punjab, became the season’s first crorepati. Despite facing several setbacks in his UPSC journey, Aditya never gave up. His resilience paid off when he answered the ₹1 crore question correctly:

The right answer was Seaborgium, named after Glenn T. Seaborg.
