Pune: PMC Steps Up Road Repairs On Mohamadwadi Undri Stretch After Commissioner's Visit
Pune, November 2, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has intensified repair work on the Mohamadwadi Undri-Marg stretch following persistent efforts by members of the Mohammadwadi Undri Residents Welfare Development Foundation. The group had recently met PMC Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram to highlight the poor and unsafe condition of the road between Nyati Estate and Country Club.
Responding to their concerns, Commissioner Ram directed the road department to take immediate action. Since his intervention, PMC teams have been actively working on the stretch, repairing potholes and uneven patches to improve road safety and driving comfort. Officials have also been addressing various civic issues raised by residents from the area.
Residents expressed relief that the long-pending issue finally received attention, as the damaged road had been a major cause of inconvenience and accidents.
PMC officials have assured that the remaining sections of the road will be repaired within the next few weeks. The Foundation has appreciated the prompt response and continuous follow-up by the civic authorities, hoping that the completed work will bring lasting relief to commuters and residents in Mohammadwadi and Undri.
Residents and members of MURWDF thanked the Commissioner Naval Kishor Ram for his continued efforts to resolve citizen’s issues.
