Hinjawadi Finally Has a Pan-Asian Restaurant That Actually Deserves Your Evening

Ask anyone who works in Hinjawadi and they’ll tell you the same thing: great office, terrible dinner options. For years, Pune’s largest IT hub has been a dining dead zone after 7 PM unless you count highway dhabas and overpriced mediocre delivery.

That changes now.

Dragonfly Kitchen & Bar, inside Radisson Blu Pune Hinjawadi, has just relaunched — and it’s the kind of restaurant that makes you wonder why you’ve been driving to Koregaon Park for a good meal when this was right here all along.

Asia on One Menu 

The concept is Pan-Asian, but don’t let that fool you into expecting a generic “Chinese-Thai” menu. Dragonfly goes deep — Korea, Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, China — and pulls it off with a seriousness that most standalone restaurants in Pune can’t match.

Start with the dumplings. The Korean Kimchi Dumplings are spicy, punchy, and worth ordering twice. The Japanese Chicken Gyoza are crispy on the outside and juicy inside — exactly how they should be. Vegetarians are genuinely well-served here, which is rare for a Pan-Asian restaurant of this ambition.

The sushi section runs Uramaki, Maki, and Nigiri — the Dragon Chicken Roll with tempura chicken and togarashi mayo is the one to order. For mains, the Char Grilled Lamb Chop on sizzler is the showstopper. The Massaman Curry — thick, aromatic, available in lamb or chicken — is the kind of dish that makes a Tuesday evening feel worth it. Thai Red, Green, and Yellow curries round out the options for a mixed table.

Desserts are serious here too. The Coconut Chocolate Mousse with a crusty chocolate dome and the Passion Fruit Cheesecake are both new — and both reason enough to stay for one more round.
