Pune – November 10, 2025: The Bavdhan Citizens Forum (BCF) organized a peaceful chain protest on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 5:00 PM, to draw attention to the growing traffic congestion and encroachments along Lane No. 8, stretching from Axis Bank to Omkar Garden Chowk.
Under the banner of civic responsibility and community welfare, residents gathered at DSK Raanwaara Katta, voicing their demand for blockage-free roads and smoother traffic flow. The campaign urged local authorities to take immediate measures to ensure encroachment-free, well-maintained, and safe roadways in Bavdhan.
The slogan — “मतदार राजा जागा हो !! नाही तर गुदमरेल श्वास !!!!” — resonated strongly among participants, emphasizing the urgent need for citizens to awaken and act against civic negligence before conditions worsen.
This initiative by BCF reflects the growing concern among Bavdhan residents about inadequate infrastructure and traffic mismanagement in the rapidly developing suburb. Through this peaceful demonstration, citizens sought to remind officials of their accountability toward providing basic amenities such as electricity, water, and obstruction-free roads.
BCF members expressed their concerns and expecting that the authorities would take note of the residents’ grievances and implement sustainable solutions to make Bavdhan’s roads safer and more commuter-friendly.
