Pune Municipal Corporation Launches Property Tax Amnesty Scheme; 4.81 Lakh Owners To BenefitĀ
Pune, November 16, 2025: The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has officially launched its Property Tax Amnesty Scheme, which will be implemented by the Tax Assessment and Collection Department from November 15, 2025, to January 15, 2026. The initiative began today with great enthusiasm.
The scheme is expected to benefit nearly 4.81 lakh property owners, including residential, non-residential, and open-plot categories. To ensure maximum awareness, promotional activities were conducted today across the main PMC building, 15 ward offices, and 59 CFC centres using boards, banners, and rangoli decorations. The Tax Collection Department also decorated the offices to create a welcoming atmosphere for visiting citizens. All visitors were greeted with a rose by the divisional and peth inspectors.
Deputy Commissioner of the Tax Assessment and Collection Department, Ravi Pawar, Assistant Commissioner Asmita Tambe, Assistant Commissioner Deepak Raut, and other administrative officials visited various offices and CFC centres to interact with citizens.
The Property Tax Amnesty Scheme 2025ā26 has been receiving a positive response. Municipal Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram and Additional Commissioner Prithviraj B.P. have appealed to all citizens to take full advantage of this opportunity.
