Accumulated garbage, stagnated water: Trouble brewing at Undri

Huge loads of garbage has accumulated in the nala opposite Sanskriti school and Hills N Dales society in Undri, due to the heavy consistent rains last week.

Garbage and water near the bridge is accumulated over the nala which is attracting mosquitoes, making the area disease-prone. A school near the nala is putting the children at risk.
When questioned about the same, the officials of the health department in the area say that the cleaning work inside the nala can be done only by using earthmoving equipment, which they say will be available in a few days and the garbage will be removed soon.
