Pune: RailOne App Offers 3% Discount On Unreserved Tickets, Major Changes Announced For UTS Mobile App

Pune: In a major move to proliferate digital booking and enhance passenger convenience under the ‘Digital India’ initiative, Central Railway, Pune Division, promotes the new ‘RailOne’ mobile application.

To encourage passengers to adopt this new integrated platform, the Railway Board has announced a special financial incentive for digital payments.

Key Highlights of the Initiative:

1. 3% Discount on Unreserved Tickets

Effective from January 14, 2026, to July 14, 2026, passengers booking unreserved tickets through the RailOne App will receive a 3% discount.

 * Eligibility: This discount is applicable on all digital payment modes (UPI, Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards) within the RailOne App.

 * Note for R-Wallet Users: Passengers paying via the R-Wallet on the RailOne App will continue to receive the existing 3% bonus (cashback) instead of the discount.

2. Important Changes to the UTSonMobile App

Passengers are requested to note that significant changes have been made to the existing UTSonMobile App to facilitate the transition to RailOne:

 * New Registrations Disabled: Registration on the UTSonMobile App has been permanently disabled.

 * Season Tickets: The issuance and renewal of Season Tickets have been permanently disabled on the UTS App. A link is provided on the Season Booking page to download RailOne.

 * Transfer Ticket Option: A new option, “Transfer Ticket,” has been added to the ‘Show Ticket’ section for Season Tickets previously booked on the UTS App.

 * Alerts: Users will see a daily pop-up alert encouraging them to switch to the RailOne App.

3. RailOne: The All-in-One Travel Companion

The RailOne App is designed to provide a seamless travel experience by integrating essential services into a single platform. Unlike the previous app, RailOne offers:

 * Online booking and cancellation of Reserved Tickets.

 * Real-time Train Running Status and PNR Status enquiry.

 * Complete Unreserved Ticketing (UTS) features.

 * Access to Catering and other travel-related services.

 * Grievance redressal and feedback mechanisms.

Pune Division appeals to all commuters to download the RailOne App from the Play Store or App Store immediately. 

Switching to RailOne will not only provide a hassle-free, queue-free ticketing experience but also help in decongesting station ticket counters.
