IndiGo Flight With 220 Passengers Lands Safely in Mumbai After Landing Gear Issue
Pune, January 23, 2026: An IndiGo flight from Delhi to Pune triggered a security scare on Thursday evening after airport authorities received a bomb threat note upon the aircraft’s arrival. Officials later confirmed the threat to be a hoax after thorough checks.
According to airport sources, IndiGo flight 6E 2608 landed at Pune Airport at 9:24 pm—nearly 45 minutes behind schedule—and was initially parked at Bay No. 3.
Shortly after arrival, a handwritten note indicating a bomb threat was discovered inside the aircraft lavatory, prompting Air Traffic Control to alert Apron Control and other concerned agencies.
Following standard operating procedures, the aircraft was moved to an isolation bay and all passengers were safely deboarded. A Bomb Threat Assessment Committee (BTAC) was convened and the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) conducted a detailed physical inspection. No suspicious items were found and the aircraft was later cleared for normal operations.
