Pimpri, February 24, 2026: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will organise the grand ‘Pavanathadi’ fair in Sangvi from February 25 to March 1, 2026, with the aim of providing a platform for women’s self-help groups and promoting local entrepreneurship.

The five-day fair will be inaugurated on February 25 at 10 am at the PWD Ground, Sangvi, by Mayor Ravi Landge. Organised by the Social Development Department of PCMC, the event will feature stalls set up by women’s self-help groups showcasing food items, household products and traditional handicrafts. The initiative is expected to boost women-led enterprises and provide a dedicated marketplace for locally made products.

Visitors will also be treated to daily cultural programmes beginning at 6 pm. The line-up includes ‘Maharashtrachi Marathi Bana’ (Feb 25), the popular ‘Home Minister’ show (Feb 26), Orchestra Musical Stars (Feb 27), ‘Folk Sanskriti’ (Feb 28), and ‘The Folk Lavani’ (March 1).
