Pune, March 12, 2026: The district administration has assured residents that there is sufficient stock of LPG cylinders in the district and that the supply is continuing without disruption.

Jitendra Dudi urged citizens not to believe rumours about a possible shortage of domestic gas cylinders. He said information received from LPG distributors and oil companies indicates that adequate stocks are available across the district.

According to officials, households are receiving gas cylinders regularly and there is no shortage at present. The district administration, along with the District Supply Department, is closely monitoring all gas agencies to ensure smooth distribution.

Authorities have formed district-level and taluka-level inspection and vigilance teams to keep watch over LPG distribution. The collector warned that strict legal action will be taken against any distributor found creating artificial shortages, overcharging customers or engaging in other irregular practices.

The administration has also instructed agencies to prioritise gas supply to essential services such as hospitals and government hostels for students.

Collector Dudi appealed to residents to cooperate with the administration and refrain from spreading or believing unverified information about gas shortages.
