Pune, March 12, 2026: Manjusha Nagpure has instructed the city administration to take immediate and strict action against anyone found involved in the black marketing of LPG cylinders in Pune.

During a review of the gas supply situation in the city, the mayor contacted officials from the Department of Food and Civil Supplies to assess the current status of LPG distribution.

According to the review, the supply of gas cylinders in Pune is functioning smoothly. Around 10,000 cylinders are being distributed daily, ensuring regular availability for consumers. Officials also reported that nearly 85% of cylinder bookings are being processed through an OTP-based system, while gas companies are delivering cylinders within the prescribed 25-day delivery cycle.
