Mumbai, March 20, 2026: Commuters using the RailOne for booking train tickets have faced issues where payments are deducted but tickets are not issued. To address these complaints, Western Railway, Mumbai Division has launched the “Saral Refund” initiative.

Passengers who cancel tickets have also experienced delays in receiving refunds, causing inconvenience. Under this campaign, Western Railway will coordinate directly with banks and payment gateways to ensure full and timely refunds.

A QR code will be provided at ticket counters to help passengers submit complaints directly and track the status of their refund requests. Once a complaint is lodged, officials will investigate and liaise with the relevant banks and payment gateways to resolve the issue efficiently.

This initiative aims to restore passenger confidence and streamline the refund process for digital ticketing users.
