Pune, March 20, 2026: A minor dispute over a pet cat’s mess escalated into a violent altercation between neighbours in the Yerwada area, with three women allegedly involved in a physical fight. The matter has now reached the police.

The incident took place on March 18 around 1:30 pm in Yashwant Nagar locality. According to police, the dispute began when a resident, Komal Shirsagar (29), noticed that a cat had defecated near her doorstep. The animal was believed to belong to her neighbours, Munni Shaikh and Siba Shaikh.
