10 Unauthorised English Medium Schools Identified In Pimpri-Chinchwad, Parents Warned Against Admissions

Pimpri-Chinchwad, April 15, 2026: The education department of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation has identified 10 private English medium primary schools operating without mandatory government approval in the municipal area for the academic year 2026–27.
Despite being issued prior notices to shut down, these schools have allegedly continued functioning in violation of regulations. Authorities have now issued a strict advisory urging parents not to admit their children to these unauthorised institutions.
Officials cautioned that enrolling students in such schools could negatively impact their academic future, including recognition of their education. The department stated that parents choosing these schools would bear responsibility for any resulting academic loss.
At the same time, a warning has been issued to the management of these schools. Authorities have made it clear that no institution should operate without obtaining necessary permissions from the government. Failure to comply could invite strict legal action under rules set by the Maharashtra School Education Department.
Administrative Officer Sangita Bangar from the education department confirmed that enforcement action will be taken against schools continuing operations illegally and jeopardising students’ education.
The civic body has appealed to parents to prioritise their children’s academic security by selecting only government-approved and authorised schools.
The schools identified as unauthorised include: Blooming Birds (Tathawade), Little Star English Medium School (Chinchwadnagar), Mount Everest English School (Kasarwadi), DMK International School (Kasarwadi), Mane English Medium School (Kalewadi), Nurture International School (Charholi), Mindworld International School (Charholi), HEMS International School (Wakad), Catalyst International School (Charholi Phata), and Galaxy International School (Moshi).
