The Pune City Police Commissionerate, in collaboration with citizens, has announced the launch of the Drug-Free Ward Campaign (#DrugFreeWardCampaign) aimed at eliminating drug abuse and curbing narcotics trafficking across the city.
The primary objective of the campaign is to create a drug-free Pune while taking strict action against those involved in the illegal drug trade.
Authorities emphasized that the initiative will rely heavily on public participation and community support to ensure its success.
Reaffirming their commitment, officials stated that the growing menace of substance abuse in the city once known as a hub of education will be tackled firmly, with a resolve to restore its safe and progressive environment at the earliest.
