Google Launches Search Profiles: Creators Can Showcase YouTube, Instagram and X Content in One Place
June 5, 2026: Google has introduced a new feature called Search Profiles, aimed at helping content creators display their work from multiple social media platforms in one place.
The feature allows creators to showcase their latest videos, posts and other content from platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) through a dedicated profile that can appear in Google Search and Google Discover.
According to Google, Search Profiles will make it easier for users to find and follow their favourite creators, while also improving the visibility of creators’ content. The profiles can be accessed through Google Search, Google Discover and direct URLs.
To be eligible for a Search Profile, creators must meet certain requirements. They need at least 1 lakh followers or subscribers on YouTube, Instagram or X. The feature is available only to creators aged 18 years and above.
Creators can link their social media accounts to create a new profile or claim an existing one. The profile can include an avatar, biography, website links, social media handles and other important information.
Google said creators who claim their Search Profiles will also receive an enhanced knowledge panel that can be updated with new information, profile links and recent content.
At present, the feature is available only in the United States. However, Google has indicated that it plans to expand the service to more countries and creators in the future.
The company believes the new feature will help creators reach a wider audience by bringing all their content together in a single, easy-to-discover location.
