Pune News: Food Delivery Employee Dies After Being Hit by Luxury Car in Mundhwa
In a freak accident, a woman from Bhosari lost his life at Mohan Nagar on Moshi Pune road when a truck driver ran over her. The incident occurred on Friday.
As per the information, the truck driver has been arrested. A case under sections 337, 279, 304 (a) & 427 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 119/177 & 184 of the Motor Vehicles Act has been registered against the driver.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Rajendra Nikalje, Police Inspector, MIDC Bhosari Police Station said, ” A husband and a wife were travelling in a two-wheeler. A truck driver, who was at a high speed, hit the two-wheeler from behind. The deceased wife, who was riding pillion, fell off the vehicle. The woman came under the wheels of the truck and died on the spot.”
Currently, the MIDC Bhosari Police are further investigating the incident.
